Creating a regranting process so we can fund great local projects.
We’ve learned a lot from the regranting we’ve done to date.

Lessons Learned:
- Start small and do more as time goes on provided things go well
- Be clear about expectations around communication
- Find ways to limit stagnation
- Fund projects we’re incubating
- Give under-funded municipal projects what they would buy if they had the money
Pinal County Library District - Superior Public Library
- Raised funds for the Superior Public Library’s Summer reading program
-
They’re sorely underfunded
-
They want the snacks not the money
-
Did a GoFundMe instead of pulling from our budget

Town of Superior’s Fire Department:
We helped The Town Of Superior’s Fire Department start a Fire Corps but the Town doesn’t have budget for the program.
- Regenerating Sonora approved $1,000 in seed money to the Fire Corps
- Regen Sonora’s Place Based Grant with Vitalyst Health Foundation will help purchase additional training equipment and certification credentials.
