Reducing the barriers to available resources for people in Superior.

Resource Desk

Potential: There are lots of providers and resources available to Superior residents covering a wide range of services.
Problem: It’s hard to navigate all of the disjointed services and random websites
Solution: Make a digital map of the resources in a way that makes it easy to find relevant help. Display the map on a monitor with keyboard, mouse, and phone so users can take action right away the help they need.

ACF Scholarship Hacking

Potential: There are $100’s of thousands of dollars available for Superior students to take advantage of for college and other post high-school opportunities
Problem: There are lots of scholarships available but students waste a lot of time looking through scholarships they’re not eligible for.
Solution: Pay a student $15 an hour to put scholarship data into a spreadsheet that makes it easy for a student to quickly see which scholarships they should apply for. Then ask the student to share the doc with his peers to increase application count and increase the odds of Superior students being awarded funds.
