We suspect that about 50% of our community members do not have adequate heating and cooling in their homes. With temperatures on the rise and heat advisories becoming all too common, it’s even more important to address this issue.

We’ve partnered with local installer and miracle worker, David Guzman to help us install solar panels and a hybrid mini-split as part of our Resilient Homes offering. This approach makes it possible to cool a home without breaking the bank and doesn’t depend on the grid. The utility company that serves our area has begun the practice of preemptive blackouts in the summer which may rollout to Superior as well. If it does, we’ll still have homes that can keep cool when it’s needed most.
